The Old Mill Inn opened in Toronto in 1914. In 1921 it began presenting live music. The music has never stopped. And now it will continue in a new direction.
Ron is proud to announce Ron Davis & Friends: a weekly Friday/Saturday jazz series at the Old Mill. Every weekend, Ron will be at the Old Mill's Home Smith Bar hosting and presenting some this country's best jazz talent - vocal, instrumental, established, emerging . Audiences will enjoy not only great music, but the Old Mill's terrific food and ambience. Ron Davis & Friends is a return to the classic jazz club feel.
The first weekend of each month will feature Ron's music. So, Ron Davis & Friends begins with Ron's Trio on Friday/Saturday March 6 and 7. Following up in the series will be singer Gillian Margot (March 13/14), piano-bass duo Joe Sealy & Paul Novotny (March 20/21), and saxman Jim Galloway (March 27/28).
We hope you'll make Ron Davis & Friends an enjoyable, regular weekend destination!
